Clare McLening Non-Executive Member

Clare has a degree in Mathematics and Education from Loughborough University. Her early career included working for the Oxford University Computing Service and as a MIS Manager for two further education colleges in Oxfordshire. Since 2002 Clare’s jobs with the Learning and Skills Council, Oxfordshire County Council and now the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership have all concentrated on working with providers who deliver post-16 programmes in Oxfordshire; from provider relationship management roles to more strategic ones, ensuring the programmes delivered serve the county’s skills and economic needs.

She is a non-executive board member at EMBS and hopes that her knowledge of the county’s education and training provision, from an operational and strategic point of view, can help develop the organisation for the future.
